Who We Are
-
We believe that leadership, engagement, trust, and organizational effectiveness are fundamentally relational experiences. While organizations often focus on strategy, processes, and performance metrics, Relational Intelligence focuses on the human conditions that influence how people experience their work and one another. Our approach integrates research, practical application, and lived experience to better understand the relational environments that shape individual and organizational outcomes.
-
The development of Relational Intelligence is guided by a commitment to curiosity, respect, trust, learning, and human dignity. We believe that people perform at their best when they feel valued, heard, supported, and psychologically safe. We value evidence-based thinking, meaningful dialogue, and the belief that healthy relationships are not separate from organizational success but central to it.
-
The concept of Relational Intelligence emerged from years of observing a simple but often overlooked reality: people do not experience organizations through policies, procedures, or organizational charts alone. They experience organizations through relationships. Across leadership roles, coaching conversations, workplace interactions, and organizational systems, the same pattern repeatedly appeared. Trust, engagement, collaboration, resilience, and performance were often shaped less by formal structures and more by the quality of the relational environments people inhabited each day.
What began as an effort to better understand human connection gradually evolved into a broader framework for understanding leadership, organizations, and workplace experience. Today, Relational Intelligence continues to develop through ongoing research, writing, assessment development, and practical application with the goal of making the framework understandable, measurable, teachable, and applicable.

Our work focuses on the intersection of leadership, human connection, organizational effectiveness, and workplace experience. Areas of expertise include Relational Intelligence, leadership development, attachment-informed leadership, psychological safety, trust, employee engagement, organizational culture, executive coaching, and the relational dynamics that influence individual, team, and organizational performance. Through research, writing, assessment development, and practical application, we seek to better understand and strengthen the human side of organizational life.
